On March 24, 2016 the New York State Police at Kingston arrested EMILY A. BATTLE, age 30 of Kingston, NY for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree.
State Police received a complaint of 29 forged personal checks from an Ulster Saving Bank account that occurred between December 2, 2015 and March 23, 2016. Investigators determined that BATTLE forged each check cashing incident and was subsequently arrested for the aforementioned charges.
BATTLE was arraigned in the Town of Hurley Court and was remanded to Ulster County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $25,000 bail bond.
