Suzanne M. Savoy, 69, a lifelong resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at her home in Dover Plains, NY. Mrs. Savoy was a computer programmer at IBM and later worked as a therapy aide at Wassaic Developmental Center in Wassaic, NY.
Born on March 14, 1946 in Sharon, CT she was the daughter of the late Winston and Susan Knight Disbrow. Mrs. Savoy was predeceased by her husband, James “Sam” Savoy.
Mrs. Savoy is survived by her son, Jon Morey of Amenia, NY; two daughters, Georgia Birden and her husband, Donald of Colebrook, CT and Rachel Licciardi and he husband, Steven of Saratoga, NY and three sisters, Linda Baker and Diane Martino both of Hague, NY and Gail Baird of Copake, NY. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Anthony, Trevor, Tyler and Trent Morey, Heather Birden and Eva Licciardi.
Calling hours will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
