Massachusetts Man Arrested for Grand Larceny

PRESS RELEASE

On March 10, 2016 the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Kingston arrested MICHAEL J. WOODARD, age 66, from Orange, MA for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (E-Felony).

WOODARD was arrested for his involvement in a telephone scam that occurred on September 14, 2015.  He stole $1,800 from his victim and deposited that money into his personal bank account. The investigation was conducted by the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Kingston and the Town of Orange Massachusetts Police Department.

WOODARD was arraigned in the Town of Hurley Court and was released after posting $1,000 cash bail.  He was ordered to return in Town of Hurley Court at a later date.
