Amenia woman arrested following larceny complaint in Dover

Dover Plains, New York- On March 9, 2016, the New York State Police from Dover Plains arrested 48-year-old Michelle L. Kesson of Amenia, New York, for Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, and 18 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree, Class D Felonies.

Kesson, while employed as a home health care aid for an elderly Dover Plains woman, stole over $4,000 from the victim’s bank accounts.  The theft occurred in the Town of Amenia over several months time.

Kesson was arraigned in the Town of Amenia Court before Hon. James Devine and was released on her own recognizance.  She is due to re-appear in the Town of Amenia Court on March 21, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.
