Amenia – Micha K. Carroll, 76, a longtime resident of Amenia, NY died on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Mrs. Carroll was a seamstress at the Greer School in Millbrook, NY.
Born on December 22, 1939 in Japan she was the daughter of the late Kwon and Yi (Pok Ye) Pong Kyu. On July 3, 1968 in Seoul, Korea she married William Carroll who survives at home. Mrs. Carroll was a member of the Amenia Fire Company Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Carroll is survived by a son, John Connell of Marion, IL and a brother, Haknan Kwon of New York, NY. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Torrie and Dylan Connell.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 4 Lavelle Rd., Amenia, NY.
