State Police arrest Pleasant Valley teen for stealing motorcycle

**UPDATE**
Pleasant Valley, New York – On March 6, 2016, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested a 15-year-old Pleasant Valley teen for Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a Class E Felony.

Troopers patrolling the Drake Road area of Pleasant Valley heard motorcycles and responded to the area.  The Trooper immediately noted that one of the teens was operating a blue Yamaha dirt bike that looked similar to the one reported stolen in February of 2016.  Subsequent investigation revealed that the juvenile had unlawfully taken the dirt bike from the Millbrook home and rode it to his residence during the overnight hours.

The defendant was issued a family court appearance ticket directing him to appear before the Dutchess County Family Court at a later date and time.

Millbrook, New York – On February 21, 2016, the New York State Police from Poughkeepsie received a larceny complaint of a 2004 or 2005 Yamaha YZ250 dirt bike. The motorcycle was stolen from a home located on Route 82 in the Town of Washington. The bike is believed to have been taken between 6:00 pm on February 20, 2016 and
8:00 am on February 21, 2016.

The bike is described as a blue and white Yamaha YZ250 dirt bike, with a red foam hand protector.
