Bowdoin Park Maple Open House This Saturday
Bowdoin Park, one of Dutchess County’s great parks, will host a Maple Open House this Saturday, March 5, starting at 10 a.m. This educational program offers something for every member of the family, walking residents through the process of turning sap from trees into delicious maple syrup, ready for your breakfast table.
The event runs until 2 p.m., giving visitors several opportunities to learn the centuries-old process that’s still used today. You can even purchase a bottle of your very own maple syrup, made from the trees at Bowdoin Park.
