State Police at Liberty Make Arrest in Burglary

PRESS RELEASE

On March 1, 2016 State Police at Liberty investigated a report of a burglary at a residence in Parksville, NY.  It was reported that a television and jewelry was taken from the residence sometime during the morning of March 1.  Investigators from the Liberty State Police barracks identified Abraham Handler, age 39 as a suspect in the case.  Upon interviewing Handler, he was found to be in possession of the stolen property.

Handler was arrested and charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, a felony.  He was arraigned in the Town of Liberty Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
