Woodstock man charged with Criminal Sex Act

Rhinebeck, New York – On February 23, 2016, The New York State Police in Rhinebeck arrested Thomas Crowe, age 64, of Woodstock, New York, for two counts of Criminal Sex Act in the 3rd Degree, as well as one count of Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

An investigation revealed that Crowe met the underage male victim on three occasions in the Town of Rhinebeck and in the Town of Clinton between January 1, 2016 and February 20, 2016.  Crowe had sexual contact with the victim and provided him with marihuana during an encounter.

Crowe was arraigned before the Hon. John Kane in the Town of Rhinebeck Justice Court. He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond and is scheduled to return to the Rhinebeck Court at a later date.
