Saugerties – William T. Gagnon, Sr., 59, of Rte. 32 died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Kingston Hospital. Born September 5, 1956 in Pittsfield, MA. he was the son of Elizabeth Gagnon and the late Francis Gagnon. He has been an area resident for the past 15 years, he previously resided in Amenia. He was employed with the Painters Local 155 out of Poughkeepsie. Bill loved the outdoors. He took pride in his skills landscaping his property and enjoyed and loved being with his grandchildren. Besides his Mother of Albany, survivors include his wife, the former Linda Horton, with whom he recently celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary. 3 Daughters: Jessica (Tom) Wormell of Saugerties, Michelle (Keith) Monty of Copake and Colleen (Ryan) Hampel of Saugerties. 1 Son: William (Abby) Gagnon, Jr. of Copake. 2 Brothers: Robert of Albany and Richard Gagnon of Great Barrington, MA. 1 Sister: Marjorie Ethier of Pittsfield, MA. 8 Grandchildren: Brooke and Morgan Monty, Karlie Gagnon, Jenna Wormell, Liam Gagnon, Gabriella Brocco, Madison Gagnon and Reagan Hampel. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. He was predeceased by Siblings: Helen and Frank Gagnon.
Viewing will be Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. His Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Saugerties. Interment will follow in the Blue Mt. Cemetery.
