Millerton woman charged with possessing stolen jewelry

Millerton, New York – On February 11, 2016, New York State Police from the Livingston Barracks charged Amanda C. Milton, 28 years old, of Millerton, New York, with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
On January 28, 2016, Troopers were dispatched to investigate a larceny complaint at a Copake residence. A subsequent investigation revealed that Milton, while visiting the victim’s home, stole jewelry.
Milton was charged with possessing the stolen jewelry in the Village of Millerton. She was issued an appearance ticket directing her to appear in the Town of North East Court on February 23, 2016.
