Cortlandt woman charged with Grand Larceny

Croton-On-Hudson, New York – On February 1, 2016, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested 36-year-old Jessica Vargas of Cortlandt, New York for Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.

In January of 2016, Troopers were dispatched to the Dunkin Donuts located on Albany Post Road in the Town of Cortlandt for a larceny complainant.  Investigation revealed that Vargas, an employee, stole in excess of $25,000 in cash from the store during December 2015 to January 2016.

Vargas was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court before Honorable Gerald Klein and was remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail. Vargas is due to return to the Town of Cortlandt Court on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 9:00am.
