Carmel man charged with Felony DWI

PRESS RELEASE

Mount Pleasant, New York – On January 27, 2016, New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Joseph M. Beach, 30 years old, of Carmel, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.

Troopers were dispatched to an erratic vehicle complaint on the Taconic State Parkway.  Police stopped the suspect vehicle and interviewed the operator, who identified himself as Beach.  Beach was found to be intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Beach was charged with Felony DWI when a criminal history revealed a prior DWI related conviction within the previous 10 years.

Beach was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Mount Pleasant Court on February 4, 2016.
