Molinaro Issues 2015 Annual Report to Legislature

County Executive to look ahead for Dutchess County
in upcoming State of the County Address

Poughkeepsie… Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro has submitted the Annual Report for 2015 to the Dutchess County Legislature pursuant to the requirements of the Dutchess County Charter.

County Executive Molinaro said, “We continue to deliver high-quality core services to our residents while reducing the overall cost of government, as part of our ongoing efforts to make Dutchess County Government smaller, smarter and more efficient. Our county workforce remains dedicated to serving our residents. This 2015 Annual Report highlights the accomplishments each department has made over the last year, with staff always mindful of giving residents the programs they deserve. I encourage residents to read through the 2015 Annual Report and learn about the departments which serve them, each working to enhance the quality of life in our county as we all work together to keep moving Dutchess forward.”

The annual report provides an overview of how county finances have rebounded from the economic downturn of recent years, positioning Dutchess County for similar success in the coming years.

The report also features highlights of Executive department activities of Dutchess County Government, demonstrating the continued dedication and hard work of Dutchess County Government employees.

County Executive Molinaro will present his goals for 2016 and beyond in the State of the County address on Wednesday, January 27th at 5:30 p.m. at the Bardavon 1869 Opera House in the City of Poughkeepsie.
