Wappinger, New York – On January 20, 2016, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Wappinger barracks arrested Kristina L. Keener, 26 years old, and 23-year-old Kevin J. Lamastro, both of Hopewell Junction, New York, for Grand Larceny 4th Degree, a Class E Felony, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

In January of 2016, Troopers were dispatched to a Wappinger residence to investigate a reported Larceny. An investigation revealed that jewelry the victim had reported stolen was sold in Poughkeepsie by the defendants.  Keener and Lamastro, who are acquaintances of the victim, had stolen the valuables from the victim in December of 2015.

The defendants were arraigned before the Town of Wappinger Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. They are due to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court and Wappinger Courts at a later date.
