Great Neck woman arrested for DWI following crash investigation

Yorktown, New York – On January 10, 2016, New York State Troopers from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Amelia M. Andreasian, 23 years old, of Great Neck, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Hawthorne patrols were dispatched to a one-car crash that occurred on the Taconic State Parkway. Officers arrived on scene and interviewed the sole occupant of the vehicle who was identified as Andreasian. Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officers, Andreasian was found to be intoxicated at the time of the crash.
The defendant was transported to Westchester Medical Center for an evaluation and released. Andreasian was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear in the Town of Yorktown Court on January 21, 2016.
