PRESS RELEASE
The New York State Police at Highland announce the arrest of the following subjects:
• Benjamin Chapman 23yo St-9W West Park, NY
• Abraham Penn 18yo – Cleveland, OH
• Selene Shumate 18yo – Sandusky, OH
The arrests were made pursuant to an investigation and subsequent to a Search Warrant being executed at an apartment on St 9W in the Town of Esopus.

• Selene Shumate 18yo – Sandusky, OH
The arrests were made pursuant to an investigation and subsequent to a Search Warrant being executed at an apartment on St 9W in the Town of Esopus.
Chapman, Penn and Shumate were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2 (revolver) and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th. Chapman was further charged with Unlawful Possession of a Marihuana and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd. They were arraigned in the Town of Esopus court by Town Justice Greco. Chapman was remanded to the Ulster County Jail with no bail. Penn and Shumate were remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash and 50,000 bond.
