SP Highland – Criminal Contempt 1st arrest

State Police at Highland announce the arrest of Jason J. Feringa, an 18 year old Highland male arrested on Sunday December 27th for Felony Criminal Contempt subsequent to a dispute. Feringa was additionally charged with harassment 2nd, a violation, after he struck the victim several times during the altercation that occurred on Camp Sunset Road in Highland.  At the time of the incident the victim had an order of protection against Feringa which led to the felony arrest.  Feringa was arraigned before T/J Maciocia, T/Plattekill and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,500.00 cash and $3,000.00 bond.
