Mount Pleasant, New York – On December 27, 2015, New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Mohammed Nasim, 25 years old, of Bronx, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped Nasim on the Taconic State Parkway for speeding. Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, Nasim was found to be intoxicated at the time of the stop.

The defendant provided a breath sample that yielding a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.21%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  He was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Mount Pleasant Court on January 7, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
