A Dover woman burglarized a home on Christmas night and “menaced” residents with a knife

 

Dover Plains woman charged with burglary following disturbance

Dover, New York – On December 25, 2015, New York State Police from the Dover Plains barracks arrested Brandi E. Perri, 26 years old, of Dover, New York, for Burglary in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony, and Menacing 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers arrested Perri subsequent to a complaint reported to police on December 25th.  The victim reported that Perri unlawfully entered his home and menaced him with a knife.

Perri was arraigned before the Town of Dover Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.  She is due to re-appear in the Dover Court on December 30, 2015.

 

Perri was one of the individuals charged in an alleged burglary at the Dover-based Olivet property in December 2014, an incident that left a Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office deputy injured.

Perri was also hit by a car while trying to escape police custody in May 2014, She had been charged with a misdemeanor after she and an accomplice had allegedly been found in possession of proceeds from a burglary. While being placed in the patrol vehicle, she “ran into State Route 22 where she was struck by a northbound vehicle.
