Scotia woman charged with Felony DWI

Valatie, New York – On December 21, 2015, New York State Police from the Kinderhook substation arrested Dusty G. Pedersen, 44 years old, of Scotia, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.
Pedersen was stopped by police on Albany Avenue after she failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. Pedersen failed Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and was placed in custody.
The defendant was charged with felony DWI when a criminal history revealed a previous DWI related conviction from April of 2011.
Pedersen was arraigned before the Town of Kinderhook Court and released on her own recognizance. She is schedule to reappear before the Town of Kinderhook Court on January 19, 2016.
