State Police make arrests following Wappinger area burglaries to vacant homes

Wappinger, New York – Between December 14, 2015 and December 17, 2015, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Wappinger barracks arrested the following subjects: James S. Evans, age 22, and Anamile Gomez, age 23, both of Wappingers Falls, New York, and Stephanie N. Ilardi, age 20, of Carmel, New York. All three subjects were charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.  Evans, Gomez and Ilardi were also charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree, Possession of Burglar Tools, and Unlawful Possession of Radio Devices, all Misdemeanors.

The arrests were made subsequent to burglaries carried out on vacant homes in the Wappinger area.

The subjects were all arraigned at the Town of Wappinger Court.  Evans was released after posting bond, and Gomez and Ilardi were both released under the supervision of Probation. They were scheduled for future appearances at the Town of Wappinger Court.
