Margaret Iseman, a former resident of Pawling, NY and Pittsburgh, PA, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Putnam Hospital, Margaret was 86.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 19, 1929, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary (Bolton) Smith. Her husband, David, predeceased her March 10, 2013.
Margaret was an EMT, and she loved cooking and singing, and writing poetry. She is survived by her six children, David Iseman of Springfield, MO Robert Iseman of Pittsburgh, PA, Colleen Salcius of Pawling, Carla Iseman and Mary Harris both of NYC, and Maureen Broeking of Cherry Valley, NY; her brother Robert Smith of Pittsburgh, PA; nine grandchildren, Chance Oberlander, Darlan Monterisi, Luke Iseman, Mia Iseman, Scott Iseman, Carla Iseman, Adam Iseman, Linc Oberlander, and Willem Salcius; and three great-grandchildren, Maddox, Yukon, and Isa Rose Monterisi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 12th at 1 PM at St. John’s Church, Pawling, NY. Calling hours will be after the mass from 4-6 PM at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.
Burial will be 11 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Allegheny County Memorial Park Cemetery, Allison Park, PA.
