Pawling woman arrested for DWI subsequent to Beekman collision

Beekman, New York – On December 6, 2015, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks charged 45-year-old Renee M. Pinyan of Pawling, New York, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony and Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

At approximately 11:35 a.m., Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to investigate a one-car auto collision that occurred on Pleasant Ridge Road.  Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, Pinyan was found to be intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Pinyan was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree when a DMV inquiry revealed that her driving privileges were suspended from a previous DWI related arrest.

Pinyan was arraigned before the Town of Union Vale Justice Court and released after posting $2,500 bail.  She is scheduled to reappear before the Town of Beekman Court on December 10, 2015.
