State Police arrest Poughkeepsie man on drug charges

On December 2, 2015, the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) in conjunction with the City of Poughkeepsie Police Neighborhood Recovery Unit (NRU), executed a Dutchess County Court narcotics arrest warrant for Tyrone M. Morgan, age 41, of 109 Delafield Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY. The arrest resulted in the seizure of approximately 30 grams of crack cocaine and powder cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. Morgan was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance (crack cocaine) a class B Felony (3 counts), and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (crack cocaine) a class B Felony (4 counts).

Morgan was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail pending arraignment in Dutchess County Court.
