Traffic stop leads to Driving While Intoxicated arrest

Elmsford, New York – On November 29, 2015, New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Linda Hernandez, 36 years old, of Poughkeepsie, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to investigate the report of an erratically operated vehicle traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway.  Pursuant to an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Hernandez, was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Hernandez provided a breath sample that yielded a .12% Blood Alcohol Content and was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the Village of Elmsford Court on December 16, 2015.
