LaGrange man charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by drugs in Beekman

Beekman, New York – On December 2, 2015, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested 23-year-old Andrew M. DiMaggio, of LaGrange, New York, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, an unclassified Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped DiMaggio on Clove Valley Road for failing to maintain his designated lane of travel.  Pursuant to an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, it was determined that he was impaired at the time of the stop.

A State Police Drug Recognition Expert evaluated DiMaggio and confirmed that he was impaired.

DiMaggio was issued appearance tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Beekman Court on December 17, 2015.
