Mount Pleasant, New York – On November 23, 2015, New York State Police arrested 59-year-old Robert J. Weyrauch of Ossining, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., Troopers were performing traffic control following a crash that occurred on the Sprain Brook Parkway.  Despite having the patrol vehicle’s emergency lights activated, Weyrauch failed to move over to right lane and subsequently struck the rear of the police vehicle.  Further investigation revealed Weyrauch was intoxicated at the time of the collision.

Weyrauch was charged with Felony DWI when a criminal history revealed that he was convicted of a DWI related offense in June of 2011.

Weyrauch was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear before the Town of Mount Pleasant Court on December 10, 2015.
