Catskill man arrested for forgery charges

PRESS RELEASE

On 11/17/15 The New York State Police at Catskill report the arrest of LEONEL ROSARIO,(AKA “Big Pun”) age 26, of Catskill NY for the charge of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2^nd Degree a class D Felony.

ROSARIO was arrested after a joint investigation was conducted by The New York State Police BCI in Catskill and the Catskill Police Department.  ROSARIO was arrested on 09/26/15 by the Catskill Police for depositing fraudulent checks into the Catskill branches of The Bank of Greene County.  Further investigation revealed ROSARIO deposited the fraudulent checks in the Cairo Branch.

ROSARIO was arraigned before Town of Cairo Justice MILLER and remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
