On November 20, 2015, New York State Police at Catskill arrested 32-year-old Anthony Conrad of Albany, New York for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd, a class D Felony.

The arrest was the result of Troopers locating an abandoned vehicle on the New York State Thruway that had been reported stolen to the 52nd Precinct of the New York City Police Department earlier in the day. At the same time Greene County 911 took a phone call for a suspicious person who had approached a residence asking for a ride. After a brief search of the area, Anthony Conrad was located, taken into custody and charged with possessing the stolen vehicle.

Conrad was processed at SP Catskill and brought before Town Justice Pazin in the Town of Athens Court. Conrad was remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $50,000 Cash Bail or $100,000 Secured Bond.
