Toddlers and parents will participate in fun filled 45 minute sessions that include listening to books, music, movement, finger plays, nursery rhymes and other related activities designed especially for active toddlers. Each session is followed by an open exploration time for children so parents can socialize. Registration is required.

Our program for 4 – 5 year olds has always focused on pre-reading skills that are important to early reading success in kindergarten, but now there’s more! We want to give your child a S.M.A.R.T. Start by including Science, Math and Reading Together! Each week we’ll include either a science or math based activity to complement the program’s strong literacy activities. Now our programs offer your children even more learning activities before they head off to kindergarten! (No session Nov. 24th) Registration is required. Please call the library at 855-3444.

Immerse your child in early literacy skills in our special literacy program that focuses on those important pre-reading skills. We’ll play with sounds, rhyming and syllables in a fun and natural atmosphere. Children will need an easy to open binder for this program. Registration is required. A class for teens from 5th-12th grade. Learn how to design and print object that you think up. A great new technology that is changing the world.

Get together with friends, grab a hot beverage and knit! We are knitting scarfs for ourselves and for the homeless! For teens 5th-12th grade.

6:30pm – 7:30pm – Evening Hatha Yoga
with Maria Polhemus

Hatha Yoga is one of the most popular relaxing forms of exercise.

Come spend an hour with us and enjoy a new found path of tranquility.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or blanket.

Each session ends with a guided meditation.
