It was a sunny afternoon but a bitterly cold day. The Orange team and the Royal Rebels are facing off in the U-12 finals with a cheering crowd of family and friends. A quick two goals by the Orange team had them buoyant and raring to go for more. The tense and worried Royal Rebels enter the second quarter without scoring. As perseverant Royal Rebels forge on ahead and take an opportunity to score their first goal resulting in a much needed boost to their morale. The Royal Rebels score their second goal in the third quarter. With score even and parents at the edge of their seat, nervously cheering the stupendous effort of both the teams the fourth quarter ends with a 2-2 score. Now the first game enters overtime period which also ends with the same score. The much dreaded penalty kick session starts and tensions are at a high and the game ends with the Royal Rebels scoring 3 -0.
Both the teams demonstrated utmost sportsmanship and entertained the audience with their skill. Fun was had by all and congratulations to both the teams Royal Rebels and the Orange team for a wonderful game of soccer.
