Carl and Louise Alexanderson of Wingdale celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on October 31, 2015.
They were married October 31, 1945 in Flushing, NY.
Mrs. Alexanderson retired from Putnam Hospital after a career as head nurse in the recovery room. She also is a retired Dutchess County Health nurse.
Mr. Alexanderson served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII over Europe. He retired after 30 years of service with General Electric Air Operations at Westchester County Airport.
They have four children, Linda (Alex) Miller and her husband Alan of Vestal NY, Peter Alexanderson and his wife Robin of Brewster, NY, Lisa Whalen of Schenectady, NY, and Amy Heinrich and her partner Carmelo Bueti of Wingdale, NY.
They have 10 grandchildren, Lisa Odgers of Binghamton, NY, Larkin Odgers of Waterford, CT, Foss Odgers and his wife Nicole of Mountain Home, ID, Luke Grady, Pleasant Valley, NY, Lee Alexanderson and his wife Fran of Pasadena, CA, Jared Miller of Vestal, NY, Andrew Alexanderson of Norwich, CT, Caleb Heinrich of Wingdale, NY, Mariah Heinrich, Wingdale, NY, and Benjamin Heinrich, Wingdale, NY. The Alexanderson’s also have several great grandchildren.
Mr. & Mrs. Alexanderson celebrated a quiet dinner with family.
