Hawthorne man arrested following report of a road rage incident

PRESS RELEASE
Greenburgh, New York – On October 24, 2015, Troopers with the New York State Police in Hawthorne charged Juan Acevedo, age 37, of Hawthorne, New York, with Menacing 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

The arrest stemmed from a road rage incident that occurred on the Sprain Brook Parkway on October 24, 2015. Acevedo pointed what appeared to be a handgun toward the complainant in violation of the statute.

Acevedo was located by Troopers at his residence in Hawthorne and processed at the State Police Hawthorne station.

The defendant was issued an Appearance Ticket directing him to appear before the Town of Greenburgh Court on November 5, 2015.
