State Police Arrest Two Men for Robbery

State Police in Middletown announce the arrest of Sean P. Brunning, age 24, of Middletown, New York, and Ryan C. Mortensen, age 32, of Gardiner, New York, following an investigation into a robbery that was reported to State Police on October 12^th. The two men are accused of robbing a 31 year-old Middletown man in the parking lot of the Wendy’s restaurant on Route 211 East in the Town of Wallkill. The victim was physically assaulted and relieved of five hundred dollars during the incident. Brunning was arrested on October 18^th, and Mortensen was arrested on October 20^th. Both men were charged with one count of Robbery in the second degree. They were arraigned in Town of Wallkill Court, and committed to Orange County Jail in lieu of bail, pending a court appearance on October 26^th.
