Peekskill woman charged with driving while intoxicated

Peekskill, New York – On October 17, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Cynthia B. Granda, 22 years old, of Lake Peekskill, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers stopped the vehicle Granda was operating on State Route 6 for an equipment violation. Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, Granda was found to be intoxicated at the time of the stop.
Granda provided a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.09% and was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the City of Peekskill Court on October 26, 2015.
