PRESS RELEASE

On 10/19/15 the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at SP Kingston announced the arrest of KEVIN J. TRYANOWSKI age 37 of Lodi, New Jersey for Burglary in the Second Degree a Felony.

On 10/18/15 at approximately 1:00 AM uniform Troopers from the Kingston Barracks responded to a residence in the hamlet of Chichester, NY for a report of an unwanted subject in the residence. Upon their arrival the suspect, KEVIN J. TRYANOWSKI, was located and apprehended outside the residence. Investigation revealed that TRYANOWSKI used a ladder he had taken from a garage on the property to climb to a second floor window and entered a bedromm which was occupied by the male and female tennant. TRYANOWSKI and the male tennant were involved in a brief confrontation during which TRYANOWSKI placed the male tennant in a headlock before releasing him and exiting the residence. TRYANOWSKI was familiar with the residents of the apartment. No injuries were reported as a result of the confrontation.

TRYANOWSKI was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree – Dwelling, a felony, and Harassment 2nd Degree – Unwanted Physical Contact, a violation. TRYANOWSKI was arraigned in the Town of Shandaken Court and subsequently released to appear again at a future date.
