Pennsylvania man arrested following commercial vehicle roadcheck

PRESS RELEASE
Members of the New York State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit were conducting a commercial vehicle road check on Route 199 in the Town of Rhinebeck. An inspection of a pick-up truck pulling a carnival trailer was performed and revealed approximately 51.5 grams of marijuana and a loaded Taurus 9mm pistol. The operator had no permit for the pistol and it was not registered.
Walker was arraigned in the Town of Rhinebeck Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 secured bond.
