Village of Saugerties woman arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child

On October 1, 2015 the New York State Police – Bureau of Criminal Investigation SP Kingston arrested ALYSSA L. MONTALVO age 23 of Saugerties, NY for Endangering the Welfare of a Child regarding the welfare of a 2 year old male toddler.

The New York State Police in Kingston, NY responded to 911 call of unattended 2 year old toddler found walking down the street by himself in Saugerties, NY. Responding New York State Police patrol found the 2 year old toddler outside on a sidewalk with the 911 caller and other concerned citizens. Upon initial investigation the mother of the 2 year old toddler, ALYSSA L. MONTALVO came from approximately 250 feet away and across the street and stated she was the mother of the child. Further investigation revealed that 40 minutes of time had elapsed between the last time she observed her two year old toddler in her home and the time of New York State Police arrival on scene. ALYSSA L. MONTALVO was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Misdemeanor).

ALYSSA L. MONTALVO was released on her own recognizance with appearance ticket to appear in Town of Saugerties Court on October 5, 2015.
