Berkshire Taconic Announces Final Round of 2015 Grant Deadlines for Dutchess County

 

Sheffield, Mass. — Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation today announced its final round of deadlines for competitive grants in 2015. Covering the period from October through December, the fall grants cycle is open to regional nonprofits, schools and individuals.

 

FOR NONPROFITS

The Wassermann-Streit Y’diyah Memorial Fund supports projects that encourage learning about Judaism with an aim to dispel religious prejudice. Grants of up to $500 will be awarded. Applications are due November 1.

 

FOR NONPROFITS & SCHOOLS

The Webutuck Quest for Excellence Fund for the Webutuck Central School District supports developmental and literacy projects for children in pre-k through third grade. Grants between $500 and $1,000 will be awarded. Applications are due December 1.

 

FOR INDIVIDUALS

The Tupelo Award Fund supports residents, ages 16 to 36, who want to enrich themselves through research on a topic of demonstrated interest. Grants of $1,000 will be awarded. Applications are due October 15.
