Brewster man charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

Brewster, New York – On September 26, 2015, New York State Police from Brewster arrested Raymond L. Pellecchia, 48 years old, of Brewster, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped Pellecchia on Main Street in the Village of Brewster for not wearing his seatbelt.  While police interviewed Pellecchia, they observed clues that indicated he was intoxicated at the time of the stop

The defendant provided a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .22%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxicated in New York State.  Pellecchia was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Village of Brewster Court on October 26, 2015 and released from police custody.
