State Police at Liberty Make Arrest in Theft of Checks

On September 22, 2015 State Police at Liberty arrested Mary Alongi, age 43 of Woodbourne after it was determined that she had stolen checks from a Fallsburg residence. After stealing the checks, Alongi cashed them at various local businesses.
Alongi was charged with Forgery 2nd Degree, a felony and Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable in the Town of Fallsburg Court.
