PRESS RELEASE
The New York State Police at SP Wurtsboro announce the arrest of Arthur L. Rodgers, age 46, of Monticello NY on charges of Grand Larceny 3rd and Falsifying Business Records 2nd, both felonies.
This arrest was the result of an investigation by the NYS Dept of Labor Investigations Section and the New York State Police wherein it is alleged that, between February 13, 2012 and August 12, 2012, Rodgers did apply for and receive unemployment benefits totaling $4,690.25 which he was not entitled to receive.
Rodgers was arraigned before Village of Monticello Court Justice Leo Glass and committed to the Sullivan County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail. Rodgers is scheduled to return to the Village of Monticello Court on 09/24/15 at 10:00am.
