West Hurley man charged with Burglary

PRESS RELEASE
Red Hook, New York – On September 19, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested 27-year-old Freddy Santos, of West Hurley, New York, for Burglary 2nd Degree, Forcible Touching and Two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Santos, an acquaintance of the occupants of the home, unlawfully entered the residence in which two children under the age of 17 were sleeping.  While in the victim’s bedroom, Santos rubbed the stomach of one of the children, while the other one slept.

Santos was arraigned before the Village of Red Hook Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.  He is due to reappear before the Village of Red Hook Court on September 24, 2015.
