1- Attached is information about a community book study group sponsored by the Pawling PTA, PTSA, PCSD, and Pawling Library. The group will be readingand discussing Mindset by Carol Dweck.
Have you ever told you child how smart they are? Or that he/she is a great athlete or artist? In the book, Dweck makes clear why praising intelligence and ability doesn’t foster self-esteem and lead to accomplishment, but may actually jeopardize success. To learn more about how to support your child’s growth and development, join the community book group.
2- Homecoming activities this weekend include:
Homecoming Parade- Today at 6:00 p.m.
Pep Rally, Fall Sports Team Introductions and Bonfire- At PES following the parade.
Cross Country @ Monroe Woodbury High School- Saturday, 11:50 a.m-5:00 p.m.
Boys Soccer at PHS- Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
Football at PES- Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
3-No School- Wednesday, September 23rd– Yom Kippur
