Union Vale man arrested for DWI

Hyde Park, New York – On September 11, 2015, New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Andrew J. Castro, 47 years old, of Union Vale, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers were dispatched to investigate a suspicious vehicle driving on the lawn at Dinsmore Golf Course. Following an investigation conducted by the responding officers, Castro was found to be intoxicated.
Castro provided a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .19%, more than 2 times the legal limit of intoxication.
Castro was issued appearance tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Hyde Park Court on October 13, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
