Ulster County couple arrested for burglary and numerous other felonies

A multi-jurisdictional investigation was conducted by SP Highland and SP Montgomery over the course of several months throughout the Towns of Ulster, Gardiner, Plattekill, anl Lloyd in Ulster County as well as the Town of New Windsor and the Village of Walden in Orange County. Terpstra and Tubbs did burglarize a residence in the Town of Gardiner, conduct several fraudulent transactions with stolen checks and stolen credit cards throughout the area, and did steal luggage from Stewart Airport. Additionally, the couple was found selling stolen property.
Breanne Terpstra was arraigned and remanded to Ulster County jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail. David Tubbs was also arraigned and remanded to Ulster County jail where he is currently serving a jail sentence on a previous unrelated case. Both defendants will appear in court at a future date.
