Cayden Bennett Cox, “Squeakers”, left footprints on our hearts Tuesday, September 1, 2015, in his home in Pawling, NY.

Cayden was born July 13, 2015 at Putnam Hospital to parents Nicholas and Heather Cox.

Cayden will be sadly missed by his parents Nicholas and Heather, brother Dylan, sister Camryn, of Pawling; Aunts Carly Humeston, wife of Erik Humeston, and cousin Aiden; Nicole Hogan, wife of Daniel Hogan and cousins Daniel and Maura of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; Chanell Richardson, Yorktown, NY; Uncles John Brogan of Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania; Daniel Cox, husband of Heather Cox and cousin Isabella; as well as his Grandfather Harold J. Hassett of Pawling, NY; Teresa Hassett, Yorktown, NY; Grandmother Kathleen Cox of Kent, CT; Great Grandmother Eleanor Hassett of Yorktown, NY; Great Grandmother Laverne Ayres of Kent, CT; He will be joining Heaven with his MeeMa Sharon Louise Brown and Grandpa Thomas Cox, Great Grandfather Harold J. Hassett, Jr., Great Grandfather Walter Bennett Carr, and Great Grandfather Robert Ayres.

Cayden was only here for 7 weeks, but in those short weeks he impacted so many lives. He was so loved by his family and many others. He never failed to amaze his parents as he was born a month early at 4 lbs 15 oz. but gained a pound a week! We are devastated to have lost such a beautiful baby boy. Cayden has blessed us for eternity with his love, strength, and beauty.

Services will be held Monday, September 7, 2015, 2 pm -4 pm at Horn and Thomes Funeral Home, Inc. Pawling, NY and mass will be held atnoon on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Pawling, NY.
