Cairo man arrested for possessing counterfeit money

On August 24, 2015, The New York State Police in Catskill, arrested Tory A Chenault, age 33, from Cairo, NY for the felony of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st. Chenault was arrested after an investigation revealed that he possessed and attempted to utter counterfeit United States currency at the Family Dollar store located in the Town of Cairo. Chenault was arraigned before Judge Miller in the Town of Cairo Court and released to return in court on September 1, 2015 for futher proceedings.
