PRESS RELEASE
Newburgh, NY – On August 21, 2015 at approximately 5:22 a.m., State Police stopped to render aid to a possible disabled vehicle on I-87 at the Plattekill Rest Area. The occupants of the vehicle, Ryan S. Fradenburg, 25 of Clifton Park and Miriam M. Galarza, 19 of Duanesburg, NY were found in possession of approximately 2.7 grams of heroin. Both subjects were transported to SP Newburgh, where Fradenburg stated the heroin was his. Fradenburg was charged with:
- Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Class A Misdemeanor
Fradenburg was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Newburgh Court on September 14, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
No charges are pending against Galarza.
